Job description

We are looking for an application engineer who can contribute to our work on customer success. The candidate has a passion for additive manufacturing and robotics, demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices bringing these innovative processes to industrial use, and the ability to deliver results as part of a dynamic, cross-functional, and multi-national team. The role will be part of our product team and actively involved in day-to-day customer interaction.


ADAXIS, founded by a French-Swedish team of technologists, was born out of a unique collaboration between two of the leading research organizations working with robotic manufacturing process in Europe today: École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (ESTIA) and Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE). The team bonded together during a European research project and shared the common goal of rethinking additive robotic manufacturing.

Job mission

The role will involve daily contact with both new and existing users of our products. These could be end users in automotive, aerospace, and interior design, but also automation integrators and technology providers in additive manufacturing. The aim is to help our users and partners get the most value out of AdaOne and help our business development team identify future growth opportunities. The role will serve as a main link between our clients and product development team to help improve and grow our product portfolio.

The mission of the role will be to make sure ADAXIS can meet the needs of our customers. Currently, ADAXIS provides a wide variety of tasks going from software customization to advanced strategy implementation for several different application such as laser metal wire deposition or polymer pellet extrusion.

Our office is based Bayonne, in the Basque Country and we have a second office base in Goteborg, in Sweden. These environments are ideal for combining cutting-edge technological work with a heavenly setting for living. The start is expected as soon as possible. We offer the possibility to work from homeafter the initial on-boarding period.

Background and skills

We are seeking talented and curious people with a passion for taking on some of the most challenging problems in the manufacturing industry with the purpose of building a more innovative and sustainable industry for tomorrow.

We consider the following background suitable for this role:

  • 3 years of practical experience within additive manufacturing and, if possible, robotics,
  • 4 years degree in a relevant field, for example mechanical engineering or robotics.

In addition, we are looking for a profile with the following characteristics:

  • Excellent skills in relationship building, relational intelligence and communication,
  • Determination, curiosity, and excellent skills in hands on problem-solving,
  • As ADAXIS is a French-Swedish company, proficiency in English is required.
